Update 29. november: APS 2.1 is now released! Go here to download.
We have a new version of Auto Presentation Switcher which is available as a public beta-version. This means that you can download and use it, but you should only use this version for testing.

The new version gives you more options to control slides and presentations through Companion:
You now get network-commands for slide-control that targets the applications Powerpoint, Keynote (Mac) and Adobe Acrobat Pro. This means that the application does not need to be in window-focus for commands to work. We have two types of commands:
- Go to slide
- Next and previous slide
Open and display targeted presentations
We introduce more ways to open and display presentations using Companion and APS: With the Open/Start Presentation command you can type in the filename&filepath to open the targeted presentation. Or you can use the new Presentation menu to choose up to 20 presentations that you can open using pre-defined buttons in Companion.
This means that you can keep the same Companion commands, and change the targeted files from the APS menu instead. On the companion buttons you will get the names of the presentations, and the background-colour tells you if the presentation is available or displayed in fullscreen. We think that this can be a more convenient way to control presentation-files as opposed to relying on case-sensitive filenames in Companion.
To take advantage of the new features, you will need one of the latest Beta-versions of Bitfocus Companion. This can be downloaded from the Bitfoucus website. Please note that the new features are not yet added to the latest official version of Companion.

Please remember that this is a beta-release, which means that it should not be used for show-critical applications. Use at own risk.
We still expect this beta-version to have some bugs and issues that we need to smoke out before we can release this as a show-critical tool. If all goes well, we will make this an official release some time during October
Edit 3. November:
We are getting there, but there are some issues left. The Companion team has announced that they will soon release v.2.4 where you find the new APS features. The plan now is to release 2.1 of APS about the same time as Companion 2.4 is released.
