CueTimer Show Preparation
Customize the style of the timer-outputs
CueTimer gives you a lot of options for customizing the timer-windows with fonts, colors, images and placement.
If you have a big monitor on the stage just for the clock, you can create a beautiful fullscreen stage-timer with images and a progress bar.
Or, if you only want to display a PIP-window in the corner of the screen, just show the countdown. Use chroma/luma-keying or alpha-channel to remove the unwanted background.
Match your branding with fonts, colors and images
Style the look of the timer to match your brand or the theme of your event.
Choose from a variety of font- types, sizes, and colors, as well as background images and logos. Additionally, you can also select from pre-set layouts or create your own custom layout, allowing you to display the timer in the way that works best for you.
With all of these options, you can create a stage-timer that is unique, professional, and engaging.
Display the timer-window as picture in picture
You don’t always need a separate monitor to display the timer on the stage. With the help of a video-switcher you can have the countdown as a PIP on top of another video-source.
CueTimer gives you the tools you need to make this countdown look perfect along with other content. Notch the elements where you want them to utilise the space. And if you use chroma/luma or alpha keying, you can place the timer-window anywhere you want on the screen directly from CueTimer.
The picture shows how you can place the speaker-timer as a part of the presenter-view in Powerpoint.
Set a different style for the local stage-timer and the remote online timer
In CueTimer we have two timer-outputs:
- The local outputs sends graphic from CueTimer the HDMI-fullscreen and NDI-output. This output boasts an array of styling options including images, progress bar, scaling and borders, allowing for maximum creativity and customization.
- The web-display recieves the data from our server and generates the graphics on the viewer´s device. It has fever options for style and placement, but will be responsive for all browser-sizes.
You set different styles for these outputs. For example, send a simple countdown-timer to OBS through the web-output, while displaying a large stage-timer through the HDMI-output with images, progress-bar and clock.
Use the preview-window to monitor changes to the style
The Preview-window is a copy of the graphic sent to the to the HDMI/NDI output. When making changes to the style of the fullscreen-timer, use the preview to monitor the results in realtime.
From the settings-menu you can set the style for all the timer-outputs.
