Use of applications
Through this site you can download and purchase desktop-applications used for Mac and PC, CueTimer and Auto Presentation Switcher. This section specifies how you can use these applications.

EULA
To install the applications you must accept the end-user licence agreement (called EULA on this page) that is opened when you extract the downloaded file. By using our applications you accept what is written in the EULA.

Copying and distributing
An end-user can copy the downloaded software-file to his/her own computers. We do not accept distributing our applications on other websites or servers. Any product that is available to download or use from PresentationTools.com is the copyrighted work of Presentationtools A/S. We do not accept reverse-engineering or attempts to obtain the proprietary programming-methods used in creating these applications.

Verification of the software-applications
Verified developer of the Windows-applications is Brekke Stensland Lydteknikk. (This is the personal company of the CEO of Presentationtools A/S, Morten Brekke Stensland.) The exe-files included in this software is code-signed with this signature. Mac-applications have been signed with identified Apple-developer Morten Brekke Stensland. The applications have been notarized by Apple. This means that Apple has checked if our applications can create harm and has accepted that the applications can be distributed. If this verification mentioned above is missing, then this means that this particular software-application is not a true copy of applications created and distributed by Presentationtools A/S. Thus, we cannot take responsibility for such software.

Licences
You can download and use the applications free of charge. The limitation is that the applications will close after 10 minutes of use. It is possible to open the applications again and use them as many times as you want. To use the applications without restrictions, you can buy and activate licences(s).

What is included in the licence
Active licences enable all features in either CueTimer or Auto Presentation Switcher. Each licence can only be used at 1 computer at the same time. It is possible to change this computer. Both Mac and PC versions of applications can be used with the same licence. If you need to use more than 1 instance of the application simultaneously, then you must buy more licences. Applications can be used without internet-connection after a licence has been installed.

Hacking of licence
We strictly forbid any attempts to bypass the licence in order to use the applications without restrictions.

Purchase of licences – 1 year subscriptions
Licences can be bought as subscriptions where you pay for a 1 year subscription period. During that period you can use the applications with all features included. Upgrades are free during the period you have active subscriptions. Before the the period ends you can renew the subscriptions for another year.

Payment options
We offer two ways of payment: automatic checkout through Stripe or through manual invoicing.
Using Stripe your subscription will be automatically renew after 1 year.
With manual invoicing the renewal is not automatic, and you must actively pay the invoice to renew the licence.

Invoices and receipts
Company receipts will be automatically sent when paying through the checkout in the Store-page. Company invoices will be sent when choosing to pay using invoices.

Payment security – Stripe
When you go to the checkout-from our “Store” page, you are transferred to the Stripe website. All transaction-details are handled by Stripe. We only receive payment-information from Stripe after a payment has been confirmed. We cannot be responsible for issues that happen when using the Stripe-website. Cancel subscriptions
You can cancel the subscriptions at any time. Then the licences will be activated until the current period ends. After this the licence will not work and become inactive. You can cancel subscriptions from the user-account or by sending us a mail.
If the invoice or renewal is not paid for, the subscription will automatically cancel. We will send reminders and warn the customer before the subscriptions are cancelled.

Refund-policy
If you make a mistake during checkout, or make a purchase by accident, we can provide a refund. Issues must be reported within 5 days after purchase. Apart from this all sales are final. You can use the trial-mode of the applications to test them in your own environment before making a purchase.

User account
By creating a user on this website, you can:
– release licences from machines where it has previously been installed, so that you are free to use them on new computers.
– cancel subscriptions and update payment-info.
The account will include all key codes and invoices registered to the email address for your subscription. If you are logged in when buying a subscription, then the licences will be automatically added to your user-account.
The user of the user-account is responsible for protecting his/her user-account information by choosing a strong password that is kept private, and if necessary, use 2-factor authorization for the login. This is something we offer for free through the third-party company WP White Security.

Email-address
When you make create a new subscription, you register an email-address that you can use to control your licences. We will use this email-address to send you licences and receipts.
To control licences from the user-dashboard in PresentationTools.com, you need access to the same email-address as you registered when starting the subscription. Please note that it is not currently possible to change this email-address for your current subscription. In case you need to change your email-address, or loose access to it, you may have to start a new subscription with another email-address. Then we can give you a promotion-code with discount equivalent to the remaining period of the current subscription.
This can be used for a new subscription. After this promotion-code is used, we will cancel your old subscription with the old email-address.
Thus, you will not loose money when changing email-address, but it may take some time for us process this request, and if the old licences are installed on your computers, you will need to install licences again.
If you loose access to your email-address, and want to start a new subscription with discount, you will also need to prove your identity, so that we know you are the same person that paid for the original subscription.

Violation of terms of use
If we discover that you are violating the terms set in this website Terms of Use, and/or you are using the software and violating the terms set in the EULA, we may take steps to protect ourselves. If you are using licence key(s) we may make these unusable without further notice. We may also delete your user-profile on this site. In more severe cases we may take legal action.
